”Central Flinders Highlights” a very full day seeing all the highlights!
This Flinders Ranges Day tour runs for approximately 8 hours - enjoy the National Park gorges - and then head north to Parachilna and Glass gorge - what a full day!

We spend the day looking at the very best of the Central Flinders Ranges. We explore the Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park and also further north.
We will travel along the Bunyeroo Scenic Drive – one of the truly scenic tracks in the region – and enjoy chance encounters with our arid land native Australian wildlife. We also visit the location of a colony of the rare Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby – and we enjoy views at the Razorback Lookout.
Next it’s onto the Brachina Geological Trail to learn about the ancient geology and agricultural history while enjoying beautiful views and stunning rock formations (with over 600 million years of geology on display) - stopping at points of interest along the way including some of the favourite locations of the famous artist Hans Heysen who visited the region in the 1920’s and 30’s.
We then head further north take a visit to the historic copper mining town of Blinman for lunch in the iconic North Blinman Hotel. We spend the afternoon exploring the Glass Gorge and the Parachilna Gorge. On our return we will call into the Stokes Hill Lookout as well as other points of interest.
This tour offers a comprehensive look at the Central Flinders with a commentary to explain the geology and history of the region - as well as other interesting facts and a little local gossip just for fun!
